First I want to get it out there that I play strategy games and if you didn't know this is a strategy game. This game is about a more advanced alien species invades Earth. We humans are clearly outmatched by these invaders. Being outmatched a project is initiated, XCOM. XCOM provides Earth defense across the planet along with research to further advance our understanding of these species. The main story line isn't very interesting, its mainly you managing your base and flying over to countries around the world keeping the peace and eradicating the aliens. There is no real main character other than you, the commander, who has no voice, opinions, or physical form. Next, is the multi-player which is decent but not perfect. I played a couple of games and they aren't all that great. The format is the same as the single player, you get your turn to move your soldiers and set them up in position then it is the enemy's turn to move their soldiers. First person to lose all soldiers loses. I much prefer to play the single player because it is more in depth. The overall game quality is really good. The sound is great and you pick up a lot of bits and pieces like in a real battlefield, however the sound in base is not that good and sounds really old school. This game looks amazing both in base and on the battlefield. The colours are vibrant and everything looks simply amazing. There aren't many cut scenes in this game you only get minor dialogues here in there which disappoints me because they really could have made this game more story enticed. By the looks of the achievements in the game many seem to be accumulative and are extremely annoying. However, there are still some that require skill and maybe some luck. Lastly, The game may have a lot of faults, but the main thing that makes me really enjoy the game is simply the game-play  The game play in the game is so in depth and amazing it drives me to keep playing and adding the ability to manage my soldiers, weapons and research really pushes me to keep playing.

This was my very first Nintendo Wii game when I got my Wii four years ago. Its gameplay is different to every other Mario game with tons and tons of differences because of it being on the Wii, they really juiced out every aspect the Wii they could. First the story like almost every Mario game is the same, Princess Peach gets kidnapped and you have to run around the world (or worlds in this case) to save her. The stages in this game are great in many ways, first they're all different and special in their own way. Second every single one has its own theme. Lastly, they each force you to utilize a different set of abilities. There aren't many Easter eggs in this game. However, there is one, which is when you beat the game and collect every star you have the ability to restart the entire game, however you get to play as Mario's brother Luigi, who jumps higher and runs faster. This game has a second player co-op feature which isn't all that great especially for the second player, all they do is point the Wiimote at the screen and collect "star bits" for you. This game is mainly for one person. The music is by far the best in this game than any other, the music in this game fits in with every theme and place your in. Its so subtle but so effective it draws you to play more. The graphic quality in this game is fun, colourfull, and beautiful. This game being on the Wii prevents the game from having achievements however the idea of collecting all 120 stars still drives me to play then the Luigi factor makes me restart all over again is a great drive for me to play again.
